Design Parameter
Every booster has a common principle i.e. breaking the water molecules using power. The booster can be designed in many ways but one should consider following design parameter:
1. Compact in size - The booster should be compact in size and should be easily accommodated in the car engine compartment. Many people install the booster into luggage space, but it is dangerous as in most of the cars the luggage compartment are connected to passenger area. Also using the booster at luggage space, you need to take the line from luggage space to engine compartment i.e. more hydroxy and more risk.
2. Suitable for long operation – Always test the booster behavior for continues operation of 4 hours or more. The water temperature should be well within control i.e. upto 50-60 Deg centigrade.
3. Energy efficient – We are there to save the energy not for wasting the energy at one place and saving at other. We should prefer to construct the cell, which has highest efficiency in straight DC system / Brute force system.
4. Long lasting – To make a cell which has long life i.e. longer then the life of our vehicle. This can be achieved avoiding plastic, brass, copper etc items.
5. Safe – The Hydroxy gas is highly inflammable and should be handle with care. So we should take proper care and safety measure to handle this gas.
6. Easy to operate and maintenance free – The construction of the cell should be such that it does not require any maintenance and the illiterate drivers should be in position to operate.
7. Minimum surrounding accessories – The maximum maintenance issues comes with respect to some or other problem in the accessories. In view of the same the cell design should be made simple and should avoid the accessories like water pump, heat sink, electronic parts, level indicator, NRV etc etc.
8. Leak proof – The leakage of the Hydroxy can create havoc. So the system designed or built should not have any chance of leakage.
9. Affordability – The cost of the booster should be in affordable limit and should not put burden on our pocket.
